Lowry’s Seasoning Salt
2 tsp dried onion flakes
First, Sprinkle and rub the chicken breasts with seasoning salt. Cover and refrigerate for 30 minutes.
2 c shredded Colby/Jack cheese
1 c sliced fresh mushroom (I omitted because my family does not like mushrooms)
Directions:
1. Prepare the oven and preheat to 350 degrees F or 175 degrees C.
2. Place a large skillet on the stove and turn the heat to medium.
3. Add the bacon and cook until crispy.
4. Transfer the crispy bacon onto a clean plate.
5. In the same skillet with the bacon grease, add the chicken and cook each side for about 3 to 5 minutes or until they turn brown.
6. Transfer the chicken into a 9×13-inch casserole dish.
For the Honey Mustard:
1. Add honey, mayonnaise, mustard, and dried onion flakes into a mixing bowl. Stir until well mixed.
2. Add Honey Mustard on top of every chicken piece and spread it evenly.
3. Top each chicken with mushrooms, crumbled bacon, and a generous amount of shredded cheese.
4. Place them inside the preheated oven and bake for about 30 minutes or until the cheese is melted completely.
