Oven Baked Meatball Sandwiches

by Sheryl November 17, 2020

I love how easy it is to make such an amazing sandwich! These meaty treats are my comfort food. They are the best dinner to serve if you don’t have a lot of time to cook. Yeah, this recipe is very hassle-free. All you need to do is to mix all the ingredients and bake. As easy as that! You will only need 4 basic ingredients for this so feel free to add more to it if you feel like it. Give it your take and tweak it a little. By the way, I always say this, be very generous with the amount of cheese that you are going to add. Every dish will be perfect if you add cheese in it! Anyway, I hope you all love and appreciate this simple recipe for today. Have a wonderful day, friends. Enjoy!

Ingredients:

Sandwich rolls (cut with one side intact)
Cooked Meatballs (your favourite recipe or frozen, pre-made meatballs)
Pasta Sauce (homemade or jarred)
Shredded Mozzarella Cheese

Directions:

Step 1: In a large pot, add in the homemade cooked meatballs or frozen cooked meatballs.

Step 2: Add in the pasta sauce over and spread it evenly.

Step 3: Place the large pot on the stove and turn the heat to low-medium. Make sure to stir from time to time until heated.

Step 4: Generously fill each roll with the meatballs. 1 roll usually takes 4 to 5 meatballs.

Step 5: Top it with the rest of the pasta sauce.

Step 6: Arrange the sandwiches closely on the baking sheet.

Step 7: Top each sandwich with a generous amount of shredded mozzarella cheese.

Step 8: Place it inside the oven and bake until the cheese has melted completely.

Step 9: Remove from the oven and allow it to cool for at least 5 minutes.

Step 10: Serve and enjoy!
