OVEN BARBECUE RIBS

If you want only the best for your family, then you have got to consider trying this awesome recipe! These Oven Barbecue Ribs are a must-try! Just follow these easy steps they will guide you to perfection! Oh, man, you are so in for a treat! Serve these ribs over rice, and you have yourself a meal to remember. Enjoy!

Ingredients:

RIBS:

2 tbsp olive oil
1 tsp onion powder
4 lbs (2 kg) baby back pork ribs
2 tsp salt
1 tsp cracked black pepper
2 tsp paprika
1 tsp chili or Cayenne powder (optional)
2 tsp garlic powder
1/2 tsp cumin

SAUCE:

2 tbsp olive oil
1/2–1 tbsp cayenne pepper (optional for heat)
1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
2 c (500ml) barbecue sauce
1 tsp salt
3 tbsp minced garlic

Directions:

1. Prepare the oven and preheat to 175 degrees C or 350 degrees F.

2. Remove and discard the membrane coating the ribs.

3. Apply cooking spray onto a baking sheet.

4. Lay the ribs onto the prepared baking sheet and arrange them in a single layer.

5. In a bowl, add cumin, onion powder, cayenne, garlic powder, chili, salt, and pepper. Whisk until well blended.

6. Drizzle olive oil over the ribs, then sprinkle the seasonings. Rub each rib until well coated. Cover the ribs with aluminium foil.

7. Place the baking sheet in the preheated oven and bake the ribs for about 2 hours.

8. In a mixing bowl, add all the ingredients for the sauce. Stir until well blended.

9. About 5 minutes before the cooking time ends, brush the sauce over the ribs. Make sure to coat each well.

10. Turn the heat up to 460 degrees F and bake further for 10 more minutes or until done.

11. Remove from the oven and allow the ribs to rest at room temperature for a few minutes to incorporate all the flavors.

12. Serve and enjoy!
