A big thanks to my best friend, Holly, for this amazing recipe! If you want the best treats to serve today, then this is it! Feel free to add more ingredients if you like. My only advice to you is to be very generous with the amount of cheese that you are going to add. You can thank me later. Enjoy!
Ingredients:
3 tbsp butter
1/2 c of mayonnaise
1 can of refrigerated crescent dinner rolls
1 c marinara sauce
1/4 +3 tbsp of grated Parmesan cheese
8 pieces of uncooked chicken tenderloins
salt and pepper
4 slices of deli-style mozzarella cheese
Directions:
1. Prepare the oven and preheat to 190 degrees C or 375 degrees F.
2. Apply cooking spray onto a cookie sheet.
3. Rub each chicken tenderloin with a bit of salt and pepper.
4. Place a skillet on the stove and turn the heat to medium-high.
5. Add 2 tbsp of butter and allow it to melt.
6. Add chicken tenderloins and cook for about 10 minutes on all sides or until they turn golden brown. Remove from the skillet and transfer them onto a clean plate.
7. Meanwhile, add 1/4 cup of Parmesan cheese and mayonnaise into a mixing bowl. Stir until well mixed.
8. Unroll the crescent rolls and stuff each with a chicken tenderloin. Brush the cheese mixture over each chicken.
9. Top each chicken with a mozzarella cheese slice, then roll and seal.
10. Arrange the rolls onto the prepared cookie sheet. Make sure to leave a small space between each roll.
11. Brush the top of each roll with melted butter and sprinkle a generous amount of Parmesan cheese on top as well.
12. Place them inside the preheated oven and bake for is for about 15 minutes or until they turn golden brown.
13. Remove from the oven and let them rest for a few minutes at room temperature.
14. Serve with marinara sauce as a dip. Enjoy!
