10.5 ounces cream of mushroom soup
½ c French-fried onions
2 c sliced green beans
1 c grated Cheddar
Salt/Pepper, to taste
Directions:
1. Prepare the oven and preheat to 175 degrees C or 350 degrees F.
2. Place a large skillet on the stove and turn the heat to medium.
3. Add butter and allow it to melt.
4. Add the mushrooms and onions, then sauté until soft. This usually takes about 5 minutes.
5. Add the garlic and sauté until aromatic.
6. Place a large pot with the chicken broth on the stove and turn the heat to high. Allow the broth to boil, then add the green beans and cook for about 10 minutes.
7. Drain the beans and put them into a large mixing bowl.
8. Add the garlic, mushrooms, onions, French-fried onions, and mushroom soup into the bowl with the green beans. Season with salt and pepper if needed. Stir until well mixed.
9. Apply cooking spray in a 1 1/2-quart baking dish.
10. Transfer the mixture into the prepared baking dish and spread it evenly.
11. Place it inside the preheated oven and bake for about 20 minutes.
12. Remove from the oven and sprinkle the grated cheese on top.
13. Put it back inside the oven and bake for another 10 minutes or until the cheese turns brown.
14. Remove from the oven and let it rest for a few minutes at room temperature.
15. Serve warm and enjoy!
