Ingredients:
2 c all-purpose flour
2 c white sugar
½ tsp baking soda
¼ tsp salt
1 c water
¾ c butter or margarine softened
½ c peanut butter
¼ c vegetable oil
2 Eggs
½ c buttermilk
1 tsp vanilla extract
⅔ c white sugar
⅓ c evaporated milk
1 tbsp butter or margarine
⅓ c chunky peanut butter
⅓ c miniature marshmallows
½ tsp vanilla extract
Directions:
Step 1: Prepare the oven and preheat to 175 degrees C or 350 degrees F.
Step 2: Apply cooking spray in a 10x15x1-inch jellyroll pan.
Step 3: Add 2 cups of sugar, flour, salt, and baking soda into a large mixing bowl. Stir until well combined.
Step 4: Place a saucepan on the stove, then add 3/4 cup of butter and water. Turn the heat to medium and allow the mixture to boil.
Step 5: Remove the pan from the heat immediately, then add vegetable oil and 1/2 cup of peanut butter. Stir until well combined.
Step 6: Transfer the mixture into the dry ingredients and stir until well mixed.
Step 7: Add eggs, vanilla, and buttermilk. Stir until well combined.
Step 8: Transfer the mixture into the bowl with the peanut butter mixture. Stir until well combined.
Step 9: Transfer the mixture into the prepared pan and spread it evenly.
Step 10: Place the pan inside the preheated oven and bake for 26 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean after inserting it in the middle.
Step 11: Place a saucepan on the stove, then add milk, sugar, and butter. Turn the heat to medium, then stir until well blended and boiling.
Step 12: Remove the pan from the heat and add the peanut butter, vanilla, and marshmallows. Stir until well mixed.
Step 13: Spread the frosting on top of the cake.
Step 14: Let the cake sit at room temperature to cool.
Step 15: Serve and enjoy!
