Polish Kielbasa and Cabbage Soup

This heartwarming soup will surely satisfy not only your cravings but your soul as well! I kid you not. Every bite will give you a sense of relief. That’s the universe telling you that everything is going to be okay. We all deserve to feel good. Let me help you get there. Ingredients:

1 pound Polish kielbasa, sliced in 1/4 in rounds
2 cups onions, sliced thinly
4 cups green cabbage, shredded
1 Tablespoon fresh garlic, minced
6 cups vegetable stock
2 cups potatoes, peeled and diced
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon pepper

Directions:

Step 1: Place a large soup pot on the stove and turn the heat to medium.

Step 2: Add the Kielbasa and sauté for about 5 minutes or until done.

Step 3: Remove the Kielbasa from the pot and place them on a clean plate.

Step 4: In the same pot, add the cabbage and onion. Sauté for about 10 minutes or until translucent. Make sure to stir from time to time to prevent them from burning.

Step 5: Add the garlic and sauté for about 2 minutes or until aromatic.

Step 6: Add the potatoes, vegetable stock, salt, and pepper.

Step 7: Let the soup simmer for about 20 minutes or until hot.

Step 8: Put the Kielbasa back in the pot and stir until well mixed.

Step 9: Remove the pot from the heat.

Step 10: Ladle the soup into serving bowls.

Step 11: Serve hot and enjoy!
