A big thanks to my dear friend, Abby, for this awesome recipe. Oh, man, give this one a try and I promise you that it will not disappoint you! I have listed all the ingredients so feel free to add more to it if you prefer. Sometimes I add chilli powder for an extra kick. Try it and thank me later! Anyway, all you need to do is to follow all the directions and you are good to go! This will be the best breakfast or snack to serve today! 2 slices rye bread
2 tbsp Russian or Thousand Island dressing
1/4 lb sliced turkey thinly sliced, or pastrami
2 to 3 slices Swiss cheese
1 tbsp butter softened
1/4 c coleslaw
Step 1: Brush one side of each slice of bread with butter.
Step 2: Spread the Russian dressing over the unbuttered side of the bread slices.
Step 3: Spread pastrami, Swiss cheese, or the turkey over the side with the Russian dressing.
Step 4: Drain off the liquids of the coleslaw in a colander.
Step 5: Top the cheese layer with the coleslaw.
Step 6: Place the other bread on top of the other bread with the cheese layer.
Step 7: Place a non-stick skillet on the stove and turn the heat to medium.
Step 8: Lay the sandwich into the hot skillet and cook until the bottom turns brown.
Step 9: Flip the sandwich and cook the other side until brown as well.
Step 10: Place the sandwich on a clean serving plate.
Step 11: Serve and enjoy!
