My daughter loves to try new things. She’s never afraid to taste dishes she’s never had before. She saw this Ranch Bacon Chicken Casserole recipe and she bugged me to give this a try. I am glad I did because this casserole become one of the most requested at home! Cheesy, creamy, garlicky, and packed with flavor – this casserole is a sure hit always! The best part is this casserole is super easy to make using just a couple of simple ingredients that you might already have on hand. This recipe is great as is, but if you don’t like ranch, you can swap it with sour cream and it’s as amazing!
Ingredients
3 tablespoons of butter
4 chicken breasts (cooked and cubed)
8-10 thin slices of Bacon, cooked and chopped
2 tablespoons flour
4 cloves of garlic, minced
1 c. of Ranch Dressing (from the bottle)
1 small box (10 ounces) of Rotini noodles
2 c. Mexican Cheese Blend
1 c. Milk
How to make Ranch Bacon Chicken Casserole
Step 1: Prepare the oven. Preheat it to 350 degrees F.
Step 2: After cooking the chicken, slice them into cubes.
Step 3: Following the package directions, cook the pasta until al dente. Drain when done and set aside.
Step 4: Chop up the cooked bacon.
Step 5: In a pan, melt the butter. Once the butter has melted, add the garlic and cook for about a minute over low to medium heat until aromatic. Then, add the flour along with the chicken. Cook for another minute, stirring constantly.
Step 6: To the pan, add the ranch and pour in the milk. Continue to cook while stirring for 2 minutes more.
Step 7: Next, add the bacon and cheese. Stir well.
Step 8: Toss in the pasta.
Step 9: Into a 9 x 13-inch greased casserole dish, transfer the pasta mixture. Place in the preheated oven and bake for about 10 to 15 minutes or until the cheese has melted.
Step 10: Serve the ranch bacon, chicken casserole right away by itself or with red marinara sauce if desired. Enjoy!
