Perfect on any occasion, this Roasted Cornish Hen is the best thing you will serve today or in the coming days! I got this recipe a couple of months ago, and I can’t count how many times I cooked it! I’m so excited to share this recipe with you today because I am sure that you are going to love it! If you have guests over, I suggest you roast more Corish Hen. Thank me later!
Ingredients:
5 garlic cloves
paprika
dried or fresh rosemary
1 Cornish Hen
ground pepper
sea salt
1/2 lemon
Directions:
1. Prepare the oven and preheat to 225 degrees C or 450 degrees F.
2. Squeeze lemon over the Cornish Hen, then rub it until well coated.
3. Sprinkle with a lot of salt and pepper over the chicken, then rub it again until well coated. Make sure to season the entire chicken even under the skin.
4. Generously coat the Cornish Hen with paprika and rosemary as well.
5. Stuff the cavity of the Cornish Hen with lemon and garlic cloves.
6. Place the Cornish Hen onto a roasting pan.
7. Place it inside the preheated oven and roast for about 25 minutes.
8. Turn the temperature of the oven down to 350 degrees F or 175 degrees C.
9. Roast the Cornish Hen for another 25 minutes. Baste the chicken with the accumulated juices during the baking time.
10. Remove the Cornish Hen from the oven and allow it to rest for at least 10 minutes at room temperature to incorporate all the flavors.
11. Slice the chicken into small portions.
12. Serve and enjoy!
Note:
Make sure to season the Cornish Hen with a generous amount of salt and pepper.
