Samoa Brownies

by Sheryl October 20, 2020

These sinful brownies are so good! We all deserve a break from starving ourselves and eating healthy foods, right? These brownies are not only delicious, but the process of baking is very easy! I mean, all you need to do is to follow all these simplified steps and you are in for a treat! Invite your friends over and I am 100 per cent certain that they are going to love these heavenly treats as well! Enjoy!

Ingredients:

1 box of brownie mix (Duncan Hines is my favourite!) OR chocolate cake mix works too!
1 3.4oz can La Lechera (which is caramel flavoured condensed milk)
2 cups sweetened coconut flakes
1/4 cup evaporated milk
1/2 cup chocolate chips/melting chocolate

Directions:

Step 1: Prepare the oven and preheat.

Step 2: Refer to the directions written on the package of the Brownie mix.

Step 3: Bake it inside the preheated oven. Remove and allow it to cool at room temperature.

Step 4: Sprinkle the coconut on a prepared baking sheet.

Step 5: Place it inside the oven and bake for 10 minutes at 350 degrees F or until golden brown.

Step 6: Place a microwave-safe dish on the stove and turn the heat to medium.

Step 7: Add the La Lechera and 1/4 cup of evaporated milk. Heat and stir for 2 to 3 minutes.

Step 8: Remove from the heat. Transfer the coconut into the caramel mix. Stir until well combined.

Step 9: Pour the mixture into the cooled brownies.

Step 10: Place the chocolate chips inside the microwave and allow it to melt.

Step 11: Transfer the melted chocolate into a piping bag.

Step 12: Drizzle the melted chocolate over the caramel and the sides.

Step 13: Place it inside the fridge to chill for at least 30 minutes.

Step 14: Serve cold and enjoy!
