Ingredients:
2 teaspoons olive oil
12 ounces shrimp jumbo, tail-on, peeled and deveined
2 tablespoons Barbecue Seasoning
12 ounces smoked sausage rope
Directions:
1. Clean the grates of the grill.
2. Preheat the grill to 175 degrees C or 350 degrees F.
3. Slice the sausage into 1-inch pieces.
4. Use paper towels to pat dry the shrimp.
5. In a mixing bowl, add the shrimp, sausage slices, BBQ seasoning, and olive oil. Toss everything until well combined.
6. Follow the “C” shape of the shrimp when adding a sausage slice. Impale each with skewers.
7. Place them oven the grill and cook for about 3 minutes on each side or until done. Make sure to flip from time to time.
8. Serve hot and enjoy!
Notes:
Make sure to soak wooden skewers in water before cooking. This will help hydrate the skewers so they don’t burn easily.
