Ingredients:
2 pounds of baby creamer potatoes, washed, sliced in half
1 teaspoon garlic powder
2 15-ounce cans of green beans, drained
1½ pound sausage, kielbasa or smoked sausage, sliced ¼” thick
⅛ c vegetable oil
3 cloves garlic, minced
1 teaspoon Slap Ya Mama® seasoning
1 c onions, chopped
1 teaspoon pepper
¼ c butter
¼ c water
½ teaspoon red pepper flakes
Directions:
1. Prepare the oven and preheat to 200 degrees C or 400 degrees F.
2. Apply cooking spray to a 9×13-inch baking dish.
3. Wash the creamer potatoes under running water to remove any dirt. Use paper towels to pat them dry.
4. Slice the potatoes into two and add them to a large resealable bag.
5. Add pepper, red pepper flakes, oil, and seasonings inside the bag with the potatoes. Shake the bag until the potatoes are well coated with the seasonings.
6. Put a large pan on the stove and turn the heat to medium-high.
7. Add the sausage and water. Cook the sausage until brown. The water should evaporate.
8. Transfer the sausage onto a clean plate and allow it to cool.
9. Add the cooked sausage inside the bag with the potatoes.
10. In the same empty pan, add butter and allow it to melt.
11. Add the garlic and onions, then sauté until aromatic and soft. Transfer onto a clean plate as well and allow them to cool.
12. Add the sauteed garlic and onions inside the bag with the sausage and potatoes, then shake it until well combined.
13. Add the green beans and shake the bag again until well mixed.
14. Transfer the mixture to the prepared baking dish and spread it evenly.
15. Cover the dish with foil, place it in the preheated oven, and bake for about 40 minutes or until the potatoes are fork-tender.
16. Remove from the oven and allow the casserole to rest for a few minutes at room temperature.
17. Serve warm and enjoy!
