I love how easy this recipe is! In just about 18 minutes, you will surely have the best Salisbury Steak ever! What I love the most about this dish is the rich and delicious gravy! Ingredients:
Patties
1 pound lean ground beef
1/3 c bread crumbs
2 teaspoons ketchup
1 teaspoon mustard
1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon onion powder
Gravy
2 packets brown gravy mix
2 c hot water
1 teaspoon ketchup
1/2 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
Directions:
1. In a large mixing bowl, add the ground beef, bread crumbs, ketchup, mustard, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, and onion powder. Use your hands to mix everything until well combined.
2. Place a large skillet on the stove and turn the heat to medium.
3. Add 1 tbsp of olive oil and allow it to become hot.
4. Form patties out of the meat mixture.
5. Add the patties and cook each side until brown.
6. Reduce the heat to low.
7. In a mixing bowl, add water and gravy mix. Stir until well combined.
8. Add the Worcestershire sauce and ketchup, then stir until well blended.
9. Pour the mixture on top of the patties and toss until well mixed.
10. Simmer the Salisbury steak until the texture of the gravy becomes thick.
11. Serve hot and enjoy!
