Ingredients:
6 bone-in pork chops
1 cup flour
1/4 teaspoon kosher salt
1/4 teaspoon pepper
12 ounces Egg noodles-cooked according to pkg. directions
WACKY SAUCE INGREDIENTS:
5 Tablespoons ketchup
5 tablespoons grape jelly
3 Tablespoons lite soy sauce
3 Tablespoons yellow mustard
2 Tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
3 large cloves garlic crushed
1/4 teaspoon oregano
1/4 teaspoon dried thyme
1/4 teaspoon pepper
1/2 cup water
1/2 cup dry red wine-not cooking wine
3 Tablespoons olive oil, extra virgin
3 Tablespoons butter
Directions:
Step 1: In a resealable bag, add the flour, salt, and pepper. Shake the bag until well mixed.
Step 2: Season all sides of every pork chop with salt and pepper.
Step 3: Add the ketchup, grape jelly, Worcestershire sauce, lite soy sauce, oregano, garlic, water, pepper, and thyme into a mixing bowl. Stir until well mixed.
Step 4: Put the pork chops inside the bag with the mixed seasonings. Shake the bag until the chops are well coated.
Step 5: Place a large skillet on the stove and turn the heat to medium-high.
Step 6: Add 1/2 of olive oil and 1/2 of butter. Allow them to become hot and melt.
Step 7: Add the pork chops and sear each side for about 5 minutes or until golden brown.
Step 8: Transfer the seared pork chops into a large casserole dish.
Step 9: Reduce the heat to medium-low, then add wine. Scrape the bottom to get the brown bits.
Step 10: Pour the sauce over the pork chops into the casserole dish.
Step 11: Place the pork chops inside the oven and bake for 1 1/2 hours at 175 degrees C or 350 degrees F.
Step 12: Serve over noodles and enjoy!
