Ingredients:
4 chicken breasts, boneless and skinless*
8-12 slices of bacon
1/3 c brown sugar
2 tsp garlic, minced (about 2 cloves)
Optional
1/2 tsp salt, or to taste
1/4 tsp black pepper, freshly ground or to taste
fresh parsley, chopped, for garnish
Directions:
1. Add the minced garlic, brown sugar, salt, and pepper into a mixing bowl. Stir until well combined.
2. Put the chicken breasts onto a clean plate.
3. Rub the chicken breasts with 1/2 of the spices.
4. Cover each chicken breast with about 2 bacon slices.
5. Arrange the bacon-wrapped chicken breasts into a crockpot.
6. Sprinkle the rest of the spices over them.
7. Cover the slow cooker and cook for about 3 hours on a low setting.
8. Remove the bacon-wrapped chicken breasts from the pot onto a clean chopping board.
9. Allow them to rest for at least 10 minutes.
10. Sprinkle parsley over each serving.
11. Serve and enjoy!
