This recipe has always been a part of my family since I was a little kid. I remember my Grandma used to make this all the time! I was always excited to go to her house because of the delicious meals she used to cook! I learned a lot from her including this Slow Cooker Barbecue. I am so grateful to her for this because now, I get to share it with you as well! I have listed all the ingredients and directions so all you have to do is to follow them step by step and you are good to go! Feel free to add more ingredients if you prefer. Ingredients:
1 (3 lbs) boneless chuck roast
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp onion powder
salt and pepper to taste
1 (18 oz) bottle barbecue sauce
Directions:
1. Put the roast on the bottom part of the slow cooker.
2. Add the onion powder, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
3. Pour in the barbecue sauce on top of the roast.
4. Cover the slow cooker and cook for about 8 hours.
5. Remove the roast from the pot and use two forks to shred it into small pieces.
6. Put the shredded meat back into the slow cooker and cook for another hour.
7. Serve and enjoy!
