Ingredients:
1 tablespoon olive oil
1 tablespoon butter
1 pound Hillshire Farms Smoked Sausage sliced ¼-inch thick
2 c broccoli florets
1½ c cooked brown rice – I use minute rice to save time!
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon onion salt
¼ teaspoon pepper
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 c shredded cheddar cheese
Directions:
1. Place a large skillet on the stove and turn the heat to medium-high.
2. Add olive oil and butter, then allow it to melt and become hot.
3. Add the sausage and cook until brown.
4. Add the broccoli, then cover the skillet. Turn the heat down to low and cook for 5 minutes. Make sure to stir from time to time.
5. Add the cooked rice, onion salt, and garlic powder. Stir until well combined.
6. Add the shredded cheese and stir until melted completely.
7. Remove the skillet from the heat.
8. Serve and enjoy!
