This awesome cake recipe is what you need today, I know it! The rich flavours in the cake are superb! You have got to taste them. Enjoy!
1 box Betty Crocker™ Super Moist™ white cake mix
Water, oil, and Egg whites called for on the cake mix box
1 c boiling water
1 box (4-serving size) Jell-O™ strawberry-flavoured gelatin
1 container (12 ounces) Betty Crocker™ Whipped fluffy white frosting
1 tube (0.68 ounces) Betty Crocker™ red decorating gel
12 fresh strawberries, cut in half
Step 1: Prepare the oven and preheat to 175 degrees C or 350 degrees F.
Step 2: Apply cooking spray in a 13×9-inch pan.
Step 3: Add water, oil, egg whites, and cake mix into a large mixing bowl. Beat until well mixed.
Step 4: Transfer the batter into the prepared pan and spread it evenly.
Step 5: Place it inside the preheated oven and bake for about 30 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean after inserting it in the middle.
Step 6: Remove from the oven and let the cake cool at room temperature for about 20 minutes.
Step 7: In a medium mixing bowl, add gelatin and boiling water. Stir until well blended. The gelatin must be dissolved.
Step 8: Use a fork to poke small holes over the cooled cake.
Step 9: Spread the gelatin on top of the cake. Make sure to fill each hole with it.
Step 10: Allow it to cool for 1 hour at room temperature.
Step 11: Add the frosting over the cake and spread it evenly.
Step 12: Decorate the cake with the red gel frosting.
Step 13: Slice the cake into 4×3 cuts.
Step 14: Top each slice with strawberries.
Step 15: Serve and enjoy!
