This Taco Lasagna is out of this world! Oh, man, you need to give this recipe a try! Enjoy!
1 pkg of taco size flour tortillas (about 12 tortillas needed for this recipe)
1 1/2 pound of ground beef or turkey
1 packet of taco seasoning
Pico de Gallo (homemade or fresh store-bought in the produce section)
2 c of heavy cream
3 c of shredded Mexican cheese
4 tablespoons of butter
Baking dish (aluminium 9×11)
Step 1: Prepare the oven and preheat to 200 degrees C or 400 degrees F.
Step 2: Place a skillet on the stove and turn the heat to medium.
Step 3: Add the beef and cook until brown.
Step 4: Add the taco seasoning and stir until well mixed.
Step 5: Place a pot on the stove and turn the heat to medium.
Step 6: Add butter and allow it to melt.
Step 7: Add the heavy cream and stir until well mixed.
Step 8: Add 2 cups of shredded cheese and stir until well mixed.
Step 9: Add Cajun seasoning and stir until well blended.
Step 10: Apply cooking spray in a baking dish.
Step 11: Slice each tortilla into two.
Step 12: Arrange the tortillas into the prepared baking dish.
Step 13: Spread 1/3 of the taco mixture on top of the tortillas.
Step 14: Spread 1/3 of the cheese mixture on top of the taco mixture.
Step 15: Sprinkle the Pico De Gallo on top of the cheese mixture.
Step 16: Repeat the process until everything is arranged in layers.
Step 17: Place it inside the preheated oven and bake for about 20 minutes or until done.
Step 18: Remove from the oven and allow the Taco Lasagna to cool for a few minutes.
Step 19: Serve and enjoy!
