Ingredients:
28 oz. The bag has frozen tater tots
2 c shredded cheddar cheese
1 tbsp butter
1/2 c sour cream
10.5 oz. can of condensed cream of chicken soup
1/3 c diced onion
1/2 c milk
1 lb. of ground beef
1 tsp garlic salt
A pinch of salt and black pepper
Directions:
1. Prepare the oven and preheat to 175 degrees C or 350 degrees F.
2. Apply cooking spray to a 9×13-inch casserole dish.
3. Place a skillet on the stove and turn the heat to medium.
4. Add butter and allow it to melt.
5. Add the onion slices, then sauté for a few minutes until a bit caramelized.
6. Add the ground beef, then cook until crumbly and brown. Discard any excess fat. Transfer the ground beef into a mixing bowl.
7. Add the cream of chicken soup, sour cream, salt, pepper, shredded cheddar cheese, and garlic salt into the bowl with the ground beef. Stir until well blended.
8. Transfer the mixture to the prepared casserole dish and spread it evenly.
9. Scatter the tater tots on top of the casserole.
10. Place it in the preheated oven and bake for about 50 minutes or until the top turns golden brown.
11. Remove from the oven and allow it to rest for a few minutes at room temperature.
12. Serve warm and enjoy!
Notes:
Broil the for about 5 minutes if you want the tater tots to become extra crispy.
Place any leftovers in an airtight container, then place them inside the fridge.
