I love how simple this recipe is! Oh, man, you are so in for a treat! I got this recipe from the internet and I just tweaked it a bit to my preference. I suggest you do as well. I have listed all the ingredients and directions so all you have to do is to follow them step by step and you are good to go! My only advice to you is to be very generous with the amount of cheese you will add. Just do it and thank me later! Also, you may notice that I did not salt. Well, the cheese itself is a bit salty so no need for extra salt. Have a beautiful day, friends. Enjoy!
Ingredients:
1 Pillsbury crescent roll tube (8ounces)
1-lb mild breakfast sausage
6 Eggs (blended)
2 heaping cups of shredded cheddar cheese
Directions:
1. Prepare the oven and preheat and to 175 degrees C or 350 degrees F.
2. Apply cooking spray in a 9×13-inch baking dish.
3. Place a skillet on the stove and turn the heat to medium.
4. Add the sausage and cook until crumbly and brown.
5. Discard any excess grease.
6. Apply cooking spray in a baking dish.
7. Unroll the crescent roll onto the bottom of the prepared baking dish, then press the sides to seal.
8. Add the sausage on top and spread it evenly.
9. Add the whisked eggs over the sausage mixture and spread it evenly.
10. Sprinkle a lot of cheese over the egg layer.
11. Place it inside the preheated oven and bake for about 30 minutes or until the top turns golden brown.
12. Remove from the oven and allow it to cool for a few minutes at room temperature.
13. Serve warm and enjoy!
Note:
Feel free to add salt and pepper if you prefer.
