I will always love this recipe! This was given to me by my dear friend, Anna. I am so glad that I gave this one a try because I never would have tasted perfection! Oh, man, you have got to give this one a try! I have listed all the ingredients and directions so all you have to do is to follow them step by step and you are good to go! Ingredients:
1 cup sugar
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup butter or margarine-one stick
3 ripe bananas-very ripe is great
2 Eggs, beaten
1 teaspoon baking soda
2 cups flour
1/2 cup nuts chopped-pecans or walnuts
Directions:
1. Add the sugar, butter, and salt into a large mixing bowl. Beat until well combined.
2. Add the mashed bananas and eggs, then beat again until well mixed.
3. In another mixing bowl, add the flour and baking powder. Whisk until well mixed.
4. Transfer the dry ingredients into the butter mixture, then beat until well combined.
5. Add the chopped nuts and stir until well mixed.
6. Apply cooking spray in a loaf pan.
7. Transfer the batter into the prepared pan and spread it evenly.
8. Prepare the oven and preheat to 160 degrees C or 325 degrees F.
9. Place it inside the preheated oven and bake for an hour or until a toothpick comes out clean after inserting it in the middle.
10. Remove from the oven and cool at room temperature.
11. Drizzle the frosting on top.
12. Serve and enjoy!
