This cake is to die for! Try it and taste it yourself!
2 x 8 ounces refrigerated crescent dinner rolls or crescent dough sheets
2 tbsp butter-melted and slightly cooled
1/3 c light brown sugar
2 tsp cinnamon
8 ounces cream cheese softened
¼ c sugar
1 tsp vanilla
For Caramel Sauce:
¾ c butter
1 tsp salt
1 c brown sugar
2 tsp light corn syrup
¼ c heavy cream
2–3 apples-peeled and cut in ¼ inch slices
Step 1: Apply cooking spray in a 9×2-inch round cake pan and line it with parchment paper.
Step 2: Place a saucepan on the stove and turn the heat to medium.
Step 3: Add 3/4 cup of butter and allow it to melt.
Step 4: Add sugar, corn, vanilla, syrup, and salt. Stir until well combined.
Step 5: Allow the mixture to boil for 3 minutes or until the texture becomes thick.
Step 6: Transfer 1/2 of the sauce into the prepared pan.
Step 7: Place butter inside the microwave and allow it to melt.
Step 8: Add the 2 teaspoons of cinnamon and 1/3 cup of light brown sugar in a small mixing bowl. Whisk until well mixed.
Step 9: In another mixing bowl, add 1/4 cup of sugar, vanilla, and cream cheese. Stir until well combined.
Step 10: Put the apple slices over the caramel sauce in the pan.
Step 11: Dust flour on the parchment paper.
Step 12: Lay the crescent dough onto the prepared parchment paper. Repeat these steps to the second tube of dough.
Step 13: Spread cream cheese on top of the first dough.
Step 14: Put the second dough over the first one.
Step 15: Spread the melted butter over the second dough and dust the sugar-cinnamon mixture on top.
Step 16: Slice 1-inch stripes over the second dough.
Step 17: Place the rolled spiral stripe in the middle.
Step 18: Lift the second stripe and wrap it all over the middle. Repeat until there are several wrapped stripes.
Step 19: Put the pan on a bigger baking sheet.
Step 20: Place it inside the oven and bake at 350 degrees C for q hour or until done.
Step 21: Remove from the oven and allow it to cool at room temperature.
Step 22: Serve and enjoy!
