Watermelon is the best! This recipe I am sharing with you today happens to be the perfect snack you will ever serve today and in the coming days! These Watermelon Sticks with Coconut Lime Dip are so refreshing that you would want to have them pretty much all the time! My kids love these delicious treats! Ingredients:
2 teaspoons Tajin Classic Seasoning
1 watermelon rind removed and cut into long fry-like shapes
Dip:
1 tablespoon coconut sugar or to taste
Zest and juice of 1 lime
1 c coconut yoghurt
Directions:
1. Add lime juice, coconut sugar, yoghurt, and lime zest to a mixing bowl. Stir until well blended.
2. Add the watermelon fries onto a clean plate.
3. Sprinkle the Tajin classic seasoning on top.
4. Serve right away with the prepared dip. Enjoy!
Notes:
Make sure to choose the best watermelon for this recipe. I suggest you pick a heavy watermelon. You can check if it’s the best if you hear a hollow sound once you tap it. It should also have a yellow splotch on the side.
Slice the watermelon into round cuts, then slice it into small sticks to turn them into fries. I recommend you use a serrated knife for this step.
I sometimes like to place these Watermelon sticks in the fridge to chill for a few minutes before I serve them. I highly recommend you do it as well. Thank me later!
