This Crab Salad has been gracing our dining table for years now! I learned this recipe when I was little. My grandma used to make this salad all the time. I am so grateful to her for this very simple recipe because now, I get to share it with you! This recipe will only take you 10 minutes to prepare. A family of four will surely enjoy this! Don’t forget to double the recipe if you are serving more than four people. This salad needs no further introduction. It is straightforward. Just put all the ingredients into a large mixing bowl, place it in the fridge, and let it chill for about an hour before serving. Here you go! Give this recipe a try now, and prepare to fall in love. Ingredients:
1/2 c celery, minced
1 lb. imitation crab, Krab meat
1/4 tsp Kosher salt
1/2 tsp paprika
1/4 tsp coarse ground black pepper
1 shallot, minced (you can use red onion if you need)
1/2 tsp dill
1/2 c mayonnaise
Directions:
Add celery, crab meat, salt, paprika, black pepper, minced shallot, dill, and mayonnaise into a large mixing bowl. Stir everything until well blended.
Place the bowl in the fridge to chill the salad for at least an hour.
Serve chilled and enjoy!
Notes:
I highly recommend serving this salad chilled for the best experience.
Place any leftovers in an airtight container, then place them in the fridge. They can last up to 3 days.
I do not recommend freezing this. The texture will not be as good as when it is fresh.
Make sure to prepare a new salad when serving again. After all, it is very easy to prepare.
