Ingredients

  • 21 oz Apple Pie Filling canned
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 cup light brown sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 2 tsp apple pie spice
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 cup raisins
  • 1/2 cup chopped walnuts

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9 x 5 inch loaf pan.
  • Crush the apples in the pie filling and set aside.
  • Cream butter and sugars until creamy, then add eggs, apples, and vanilla extract.
  • Sift flour, baking soda, apple pie spice, cinnamon, and salt in a separate bowl.
  • Gradually combine the flour mixture into the apple mixture until just combined.
  • Fold in raisins and chopped walnuts.
  • Pour batter into the prepared pan and bake for 60 minutes. Cool before slicing and serving.

Notes

Store the Apple Pie Bread in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 3 days. Slices can also be frozen for longer storage and reheated when desired.
