Ingredients

Apples

  • 4 Gala apples peeled, cored, and diced
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 2 tbsp flour
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice

Egg Roll Wrappers

  • 6 Egg Roll Wrappers

Oil for Frying

  • 3 cups vegetable oil

Toppings

  • powdered sugar
  • caramel sauce

Instructions

  • Combine diced apples, sugar, flour, cinnamon, and lemon juice in a bowl. Mix well.
  • Lay an egg roll wrapper in a diamond shape. Place apple filling towards the bottom third of the wrapper.
  • Fold the bottom corner over the filling, then fold in the sides and roll into a tight log shape.
  • Heat oil to 350°F in a pan. Fry egg rolls in batches. Drain excess oil on a paper towel.
  • Dust warm egg rolls with powdered sugar and serve with caramel sauce for dipping.
