Instructions
Heat oil in a large soup pot. Add ground beef, season with salt and pepper, and brown
Stir in diced onion and minced garlic, sauté until tender
Add cabbage, carrots, beef broth, tomato sauce, white rice, brown sugar, and bay leaf; simmer for 25-30 minutes until rice is tender
Remove bay leaf, stir in chopped parsley, and ladle soup into bowls
Notes
