Ingredients

Graham Crackers Crumbs

  • 1 1/2 cups crushed graham crackers
  • 1/4 cup white sugar
  • 1/3 cup butter melted
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon

Filling

  • 3/4 cup white sugar
  • 1/3 cup cornstarch
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 2 egg yolks
  • 2 1/4 cups whole milk
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

Meringue Topping

  • 2 egg whites
  • 1/4 tsp cream of tartar
  • 1/2 cup white sugar

Instructions

  • Mix graham cracker crumbs, sugar, cinnamon, and melted butter. Press into a pie dish and bake.
  • Combine sugar and cornstarch in a pan; add egg yolks, milk, and heat until thickened. Stir in vanilla and cool.
  • Beat egg whites, sugar, and cream of tartar until stiff peaks form.
  • Layer custard over the crust, top with meringue, sprinkle with reserved cracker mixture, and bake.

Notes

This pie can be refrigerated for up to 3 days. Cover it tightly to maintain its freshness.
