Ingredients

Crust

  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 3/4 cup melted butter
  • 1 cup finely chopped pecans

Velvety First Layer

  • cream cheese (8 oz) softened
  • 1 cup confectioners' sugar
  • 1 cup Cool Whip

Pudding-Filled Second Layer

  • vanilla instant pudding (3.4 oz)
  • chocolate instant pudding (3.4 oz)
  • 3 cups whole milk

Instructions

  • Combine flour, melted butter, and pecans. Press into a 9x13-inch dish and bake at 325°F for 25 minutes. Cool.
  • Blend softened cream cheese, powdered sugar, and Cool Whip. Spread over the cooled crust and freeze for 20 minutes.
  • Whisk vanilla and chocolate instant puddings with milk. Layer on top of the cream cheese. Optional: Freeze for 20 more minutes.
  • Spread the remaining Cool Whip on top, dust with grated chocolate, and chill for at least 2 hours before serving.

Notes

To store any leftover Chocolate Delight Dessert, use plastic wrap or airtight containers and refrigerate. The dessert can last up to 5 days in the refrigerator. Avoid freezing as it may affect the texture of the dish.
