Ingredients

  • 1 pack Phyllo Dough (1 pound)
  • 2 tbsp Ground Cinnamon
  • 2 cups Chopped Walnuts
  • 2 cups Chopped Pecans
  • 2 cups Honey
  • 1 1/2 cups Butter (melted)
  • 1 tsp Vanilla Essence
  • 1 tsp Grated Lemon Zest

Instructions

  • Nut Mixture Preparation: In a bowl, combine walnuts, pecans, and cinnamon. Set aside.
  • Layering the Pan: Place two phyllo sheets in the bottom of the pan, brush with butter, and repeat layering with the nut mixture.
  • Crisping the Top: Add butter to the top layer and cut the Baklava into a diamond shape before baking.
  • Baking and Syrup: Bake at 250 degrees until golden. Prepare syrup with honey, vanilla, and lemon zest. Pour over the Baklava once baked.
