Ingredients

  • 1 cup Unsalted Butter softened
  • 3/4 cup Powdered Sugar
  • 1 Egg
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract
  • 1/2 teaspoon Almond Extract optional
  • 2 cups All-Purpose Flour
  • 1/4 teaspoon Salt

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line two baking sheets with parchment paper.
  • In a large mixing bowl, beat the softened butter and powdered sugar until light and fluffy. Add the egg, vanilla extract, and almond extract (if using), and mix well.
  • Gradually add the flour and salt to the wet mixture, stirring until the dough comes together. Avoid over-mixing.
