Ingredients

pecans

mixed candied fruit

melted butter
Instructions
Sift together flour, baking powder, salt, and sugar. Stir in pecans and mixed candied fruit.
Combine beaten eggs, eggnog, and melted butter.
Add the egg mixture to the dry ingredients, mixing just until moistened.
Pour the batter into a greased and floured loaf pan. Bake at 350°F for about 1 1/4 hours.
If desired, glaze the bread and garnish it with cherries.
Notes
For longer storage, wrap the bread tightly and freeze for up to 3 months. Reheat slices in a toaster or microwave for a warm treat.
