Ingredients

Soft Sandwich Bread

  • 8 slices white bread crust removed

Filling

  • 2 tbsp melted butter
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 2 tsp cinnamon

French Toast Batter

  • 2 eggs
  • 1/4 cup milk whole milk
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

Instructions

  • Remove crusts from bread slices and flatten with a rolling pin.
  • Mix melted butter, brown sugar, and cinnamon. Spread on bread slices.
  • Roll up each slice tightly and seal edges.
  • Whisk eggs, milk, cinnamon, and vanilla in a bowl.
  • Dip rolls in egg mixture, then fry until golden brown.

Notes

Leftovers can be refrigerated and reheated. Freeze roll-ups for up to one month.
