  • 2 cups Cake Flour
  • 1 tsp Baking Powder
  • 1/2 tsp Salt
  • 4 tbsp Butter room temperature
  • 3/4 cup Sugar
  • 1 egg Egg
  • 1/2 cup Whole Milk
  • 1 tsp Vanilla Extract
  • 3 cups Fresh or Frozen Blueberries

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 375°F and grease a 9x9 baking dish.
  • In a bowl, whisk together the cake flour, baking powder, and salt.
  • In a separate bowl, beat the room temperature butter and sugar until fluffy.
  • Add the egg and vanilla to the butter mixture, beating until well combined.
  • Alternately mix in the flour mixture and milk, stirring just until incorporated.
  • Gently fold in the blueberries to distribute evenly throughout the batter.
  • Spread the batter evenly in the prepared baking dish.
  • Prepare the streusel by combining sugar, cake flour, cinnamon, and cold cubed butter until crumbly.

  • Bake the blueberry buckle for 35-40 minutes until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
