butterscotch chips

pecans

rum extract

Instructions
Cream together butter, powdered sugar, and salt until fluffy.
Gradually add flour, mixing until smooth.
Stir in butterscotch chips and chopped pecans.
Shape dough into balls and place on a cookie sheet.
Bake at 325°F for 15-20 minutes until firm but not browned.
Mix powdered sugar with rum extract and milk to make a glaze.
Glaze cookies and sprinkle with pecans. Allow to set before serving.
Notes
Store cookies in an airtight container at room temperature for up to a week. Freeze unglazed cookies for longer storage.
