  • 3/4 cup Milk (1% or any kind)
  • 3/4 cup Whipping Cream
  • 1 tsp Kosher Salt
  • 1 tsp Dry Mustard
  • Pepper & Nutmeg
  • 1 cup Shredded Sharp Cheddar Cheese
  • 3 tbsp Butter (divided into 6 slices)
  • Paprika (for sprinkling)

Instructions

  • Generously butter an 8 x 8 inch casserole dish.
  • Spread the Simply Potatoes evenly in the dish.
  • Combine milk, whipping cream, salt, mustard, pepper, and nutmeg in a saucepan over medium-high heat.
  • Stir until the mixture is nearly boiling.
  • Incorporate the shredded cheddar cheese into the saucepan.
  • Stir until the cheese melts completely.
  • Pour the creamy cheese mixture over the potatoes in the casserole dish.
  • Allow it to cool slightly.
  • Dot the butter slices on top and sprinkle with paprika.
  • Cover the dish tightly with plastic wrap.
  • Refrigerate the casserole for 12 hours or overnight.
  • Preheat the oven to 350°F and bake the casserole uncovered for 45 minutes.

Notes
