Ingredients
4 1/2cupsgranulated sugar
1canevaporated milk
1tspvanilla extract
1ozunsweetened Baker's chocolate
3cupssemi-sweet chocolate morsels
1stickbutter
1cupchopped walnuts or pecansoptional
Instructions
Butter a 9x13 baking dish.
In a heavy saucepan, combine sugar and evaporated milk. Bring to a boil and simmer for 10 minutes. Remove from heat.
Stir in vanilla extract, Baker's chocolate, and chocolate morsels until melted. Add butter and mix until glossy.
Fold in chopped nuts if desired. Pour the mixture into the prepared pan and refrigerate until firm. Cut into squares.
Notes
To store Grandma's Fudge, keep it refrigerated in an airtight container. It can also be frozen for longer storage. Serve at room temperature or chilled.
