Warm milk, sugar, salt, and butter in a pan. Dissolve yeast and allow to bloom. Add beaten egg and gradually stir in flour. Knead and let rise for 1 hour.
Roll out dough into a rectangle. Spread butter, sprinkle cinnamon sugar, and roll. Cut into rolls and let rise.
Preheat oven and bake rolls until golden. Mix icing and spread over warm buns.
