Lovely Cinnamon Buns

Ingredients

Dough

  • 1 cup milk
  • 1/4 cup butter
  • 1 1/2 tbsp yeast
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1 tbsp cinnamon

Instructions

  • Warm milk, sugar, salt, and butter in a pan. Dissolve yeast and allow to bloom. Add beaten egg and gradually stir in flour. Knead and let rise for 1 hour.
  • Roll out dough into a rectangle. Spread butter, sprinkle cinnamon sugar, and roll. Cut into rolls and let rise.
  • Preheat oven and bake rolls until golden. Mix icing and spread over warm buns.

Notes

For storage, keep in an airtight container at room temp for 2 days, refrigerate for up to a week, or freeze for 3 months. Reheat before serving.
