Ingredients

Graham Crackers

  • 2 cups graham crackers crushed
  • 1/2 cup butter melted
  • 1/4 cup sugar

Fudgy Cake Layer

  • 1 cup bittersweet chocolate chopped
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 1/4 cup cocoa powder unsweetened
  • 3 eggs separated

Homemade Pudding

  • 1 1/2 cups sugar
  • 2 tbsp cornstarch
  • 3 cups milk
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 4 oz bittersweet chocolate chopped
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

Whipped Cream

  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 2 tbsp powdered sugar

Instructions

  • Build That Crust: Crush graham crackers, mix with melted butter and sugar, press into pan, bake until set.
  • Bake the Fudgy Cake Layer: Melt chocolate and butter, whisk cocoa mixture, beat egg yolks, fold in egg whites, bake until set.
  • Cook Up That Luscious Pudding: Whisk sugar and cornstarch, add milk and cook until thick with butter and chocolate, cool.
  • Layer pudding on cake, chill overnight, whip cream with powdered sugar, spread on top, dust with cocoa.
