Ingredients

  • 1 lb Shrimp (peeled and deveined) tails on or off
  • 1 Tbsp Olive oil
  • 8 oz Fettuccine noodles
  • 2 Tbsp Unsalted butter
  • 2 tsp Minced garlic
  • 2 cups Chicken broth
  • 1/2 cup Whole milk
  • 1 1/2 cups Heavy whipping cream
  • 1 cup Parmesan cheese

Salt and pepper to taste

Pinch of nutmeg

Fresh chopped parsley for garnish

Instructions

  • In a skillet over medium-high heat, add olive oil and shrimp. Season with salt and pepper, and cook until shrimp is done. Set aside.
  • In the same skillet, add butter, minced garlic, chicken broth, and milk. Whisk to combine.
  • Add fettuccine noodles to the skillet and cover. Simmer until noodles are cooked to your liking.
  • Reduce heat, add heavy cream, and cook until the sauce thickens. Stir in Parmesan cheese, nutmeg, salt, and pepper.
  • Add the cooked shrimp to the skillet and toss to coat in the sauce. Serve garnished with parsley.

Notes

Store any leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to three days. Reheat gently on the stove or in the microwave until heated through.
