  • 8 slices rye bread
  • 4 slices Cheddar cheese
  • 4 slices Provolone cheese

  • 2 tbsp ketchup
  • 2 tbsp chopped crispy bacon
  • 1 tbsp relish
  • 1 tsp sugar

Instructions

  • Mix ground beef with onion and garlic powder, then form into patties to match your bread slices. Season well with salt and pepper.
  • Cook the patties in a medium-high heated skillet until browned and cooked through. Remove and keep warm.
  • Combine mayonnaise, chopped bacon, ketchup, sugar, and relish in a bowl to prepare the secret sauce.
  • Butter one side of each bread slice. Place half of the bread slices butter-side down in the skillet, add cheese, a patty, more cheese, and secret sauce, then top with another bread slice butter-side up.
