crust for a 9-inch pie, unbaked

heavy cream for whipping
Instructions
Bake the 9-inch pie crust according to package instructions until golden brown. Let it cool completely on a wire rack.
In a medium bowl, combine heavy cream and powdered sugar. Whip until stiff peaks form to create a light and airy whipped cream.
In another bowl, blend softened cream cheese, light brown sugar, and maple syrup until smooth and lump-free.
Gently fold the whipped cream into the cream cheese mixture. Add 1 cup of finely chopped pecans and mix until well combined.
Spread the creamy pecan mixture into the pre-baked pie crust. Sprinkle the remaining 1/2 cup of chopped pecans on top for added crunch.
Cover the pie and refrigerate for at least 8 hours, or overnight, to allow flavors to meld and filling to set.
Notes
Refrigerate in a lidded container to maintain texture and flavor. Can be frozen for longer storage, thaw in the refrigerator before serving.
