Equipment

  • Baking Sheet
  • Parchment Paper
  • Small Mixing Bowl

Ingredients

Biscuits & Cheese

  • 1 tube (16.3 oz) Pillsbury Grand's Flaky Layers Biscuits 8 count
  • 8 cubes mozzarella or cheddar cheese 1-inch each (approximately 4 oz)

Garlic Butter Mixture

  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter melted
  • 3 cloves garlic minced (or 1 tablespoon garlic powder)
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley finely chopped
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt optional
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • In a small bowl, combine the melted butter, minced garlic, chopped parsley, Italian seasoning, and salt if using. Whisk together until well incorporated and let stand for 5 minutes.
  • Open the tube of Pillsbury biscuits and separate them individually. Gently flatten each biscuit with your palm until it's about 3-4 inches in diameter.
  • Place one cube of cheese in the center of each flattened biscuit.
  • Carefully fold the edges of each biscuit up and around the cheese, completely sealing it inside. Pinch the seams tightly and roll each stuffed biscuit between your palms to form a ball.
  • Dip each biscuit ball into your garlic butter mixture, ensuring complete coverage. Then place them seam-side down on the prepared baking sheet, spacing them about 2 inches apart.
  • Sprinkle the Parmesan cheese over the butter-coated biscuit balls.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until the biscuits are golden brown.
  • Serve warm, optionally with marinara sauce for dipping.

Notes

Ensure you seal the biscuits completely to prevent cheese from leaking during baking.
For make-ahead convenience, prepare the bombs up to the baking stage, refrigerate for up to 24 hours, and add 2-3 minutes to the baking time.
Try different cheese varieties like pepper jack for a spicy twist or add small amounts of cooked bacon bits or finely diced pepperoni for extra flavor.
