Instructions
Preheat your oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit (190 degrees Celsius). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Lay the sliced onions on the baking sheet. Drizzle with olive oil and season with salt and pepper. Bake for 15 minutes.
In a saucepan over medium heat, combine white cooking wine, butter, garlic powder, heavy whipping cream, and cayenne pepper. Let simmer until the mixture thickens slightly.
