Ingredients

  • 4 cups Potatoes peeled and diced
  • 4 Hot dogs sliced
  • 1 Yellow onion diced
  • 2 tablespoons Butter
  • 1 tablespoon Olive oil
  • to taste Salt and pepper

Instructions

  • Peel and dice the potatoes into small, even cubes to ensure they cook evenly.
  • Heat butter and olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the diced potatoes and cook for 3 minutes undisturbed.
  • Flip the potatoes and continue frying, stirring occasionally, until they are golden and crispy.
  • Add the sliced hot dogs and diced onion to the skillet. Stir and cook for 5-7 minutes until the onions are softened and the hot dogs are browned.
  • Season with salt and pepper to taste. Serve hot, optionally paired with ketchup or hot sauce.
