Ingredients

  • 1 Beef bouillon cube
  • 4 lbs Beef brisket with the fat trimmed
  • 2 cups BBQ sauce
  • 1 cup Water
  • 2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce

Dry Rub Ingredients

  • 1 tbsp Cumin
  • 2 tbsp Brown sugar
  • 1 tsp Ground mustard
  • 1 tbsp Paprika
  • 1 tsp Black pepper
  • 1 tsp Onion powder
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 1 tsp Garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp Cinnamon

Instructions

  • Combine the dry rub ingredients and coat the beef brisket evenly.
  • Bake the seasoned brisket in the oven at 425 degrees for 30 minutes.
  • Whisk together the bouillon, water, BBQ sauce, and Worcestershire sauce in a bowl.
  • Place the brisket in the slow cooker and pour the liquid mixture over it. Cook on low heat for 8-10 hours.
  • Shred the cooked brisket using forks and coat it with more BBQ sauce. Broil for a crispy finish.

Notes

Leftover brisket can be refrigerated or frozen. Experiment with spice blends or try pork shoulder as a meat alternative.
