Ingredients

Batter

  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter melted
  • 1 cup whole milk
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp cinnamon

Topping

  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1 1/3 cup hot water

Instructions

  • Pour batter over melted butter in the dish. Sprinkle brown sugar on top. Pour hot water over the mixture.
