In a small bowl, whisk together the olive oil, balsamic vinegar, honey, Dijon mustard, and minced garlic until well combined. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
Place the washed and thoroughly dried spinach in a large salad bowl. For more tender leaves, you can gently massage the spinach with clean hands.
Add the sliced strawberries, diced avocados, and thinly sliced red onion to the spinach. Distribute them evenly throughout the salad.
Sprinkle the candied pecans or walnuts and crumbled feta cheese over the top of the salad.
Just before serving, drizzle the balsamic dressing over the salad and toss gently to coat all ingredients. Serve immediately.
